The purists among the Poets will be mortified at this poem, so my plea for pardon from them upfront...
I wrote this poem sometime ago, but it never saw the light of the day. Well here it is..
As we Teeter and Totter
Fluttering wings, flying where sun shines bright
Whales and Fishes, where water holds warmth
Where destiny takes, Yet,
they know where they go..
An orphaned boat as tides unleash fury
Paddles broken
a lonely heart....
As it teeters...
no line nor shore
no destiny nor sight...
Just
As we teeter and totter....
